Rates for river guides, charter operators, vehicles and boats are within a comparable range. The following rates are only for planning purposes and should be verified with the individual operator. Visit our "links" page for available operators.
RIVER GUIDES $150-$200 per person per day (usually a maximum of 2 per drift boat allowed)
SALT WATER CHARTERS $150-$200 per person per day (usually a minimum of 3 and maximum of 6 allowed per boat)
VEHICLE RENTAL $75 - $85 per day DRIFT BOAT RENTAL $65 - $75 per day

Booking and Cancellation Policies

• 50% of total package is due by February 1st. Cancellations after February 1st are subject to a $100.00 per person cancellation fee.
• Full balanace is due 90 days prior to reservations date.
• No refunds after the 90-day cut off. If a cancellation occurs within theh 90-day period and the lodge can be rebooked, only the $100.00 per person cancellation fee will be applied. If the Lodge cannot be rebooked, a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the package price will apply.

Transportation

Alaska Airlines & the Marine Highway are the only sources of transportation to Yakutat. Flight 61 from Seattle of Flight 66 from Anchorage flies to Yakutat on a daily basis. Alaska Marine Highway only operates during the summer. Book early and save!! One secret we've discovered is companion fares for Platinum Alaska Airline card holders. The second person can fly for just $50.
